What Always Adaptable Provides

  • Adapted curriculum

  • Visual supports

  • Disability ministry resources

  • Practical strategies for inclusion

Hello, I’m Alli!

Always Adaptable was born from my experiences in both special education and disability ministry, where I saw the same gap in two different spaces: learners with disabilities were often expected to fit systems that weren’t built with them in mind.

In the classroom.

In my classroom, I found myself creating what didn’t exist: hands-on learning experiences, adapted curriculum, visual supports, and task boxes designed to meet students where they were. I didn’t have access to materials that fit the unique needs of my learners, and I knew that I could not call myself a good teacher if I didn’t do everything in my power to find resources that would meet their needs.

I learned that access doesn’t happen by accident. Access and acceptance happen because someone builds it.

In the church.

When our church needed a disability ministry, I had the opportunity to build it from the ground up. I designed and created an adapted, symbol-supported curriculum so every learner could meaningfully engage with faith and community. I created trainings for our staff. Now, I spend nearly every Sunday servings and supporting families with disabilities, because they deserve access to faith and ministry too.

What I learned.

Across both settings, I’ve seen how powerful it is when individuals with disabilities are not just present but fully included. Inclusion changes everything: communication, participation, confidence, and belonging.

My goal is to equip educators and churches with practical tools, thoughtful resources, and ready-to-use materials that make meaningful support more achievable and less overwhelming.

At its core, Always Adaptable exists to help create spaces where every individual can learn, belong, and participate meaningfully.
